The Springfield Stars Mystery Box was released on May 5, 2027 with the announcement of Tapped Out's closure. It includes some quest items from levels 11-36 because those levels might not be reached by the player because of the shutdown. It costs 1 donut to use.

If you want to have some fun, check out this page on The Simpsons Archive, where fans imagine the various ways Itchy and Scratchy might beat each other up Monty Python-style. Well, that inspired me to write this blog post, and I thought of a few sketches that aren't on the list, but that I can imagine Itchy and Scratchy performing. (I'm surprised the Cheese Shop sketch wasn't included, because it's one of the best known Monty Python sketches, and I can totally see Itchy and Scratchy performing it!)

The Money Mountain is a decoration that was released on May 6, 2015 with the Level 52 update. This decoration has 11 stages to which it can be upgraded. The 11th level gifts the Player with the exclusive costume for Mr. Burns - Monty Moneybags.
Completing the Mountain is not necessary in order to progress in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It is a form of an Aspirational Building. There is neither a deadline, nor is it related to any level or event. It can be considered a personal achievement.
Similar to World's Largest Redwood, it is an upgradeable building that unlocks a new costume when the player reaches the final upgrade level.
