The Crazy Plane is a limited-time decoration that was released on September 13, 2016, as part of the SciFi 2016 Event. It was the second prize to be won in the event's Act 3.
It returned as a premium item on February 18, 2017, during the Destination Springfield 2017 Event.
It returned on February 7, 2018 during the Bart Royale 2018 Event.
